Ha yes... I've been there, and I am still there, and probably will continue to be. One passage that I run to in those times though is Ecclesiastes 3. What I'm finding, is we're never going to be completely content with where we are in life, but in Ecclesiastes, God wants us to be happy ,and not take anything for granted, and leaving his comforting words by saying "For everything, there is a season." SO my encouragement to you: Ted Bradley, this is your season to be, to have no social life, work at Safeway and to work hard for Nationals. This is the season that God has for you now. "What does the worker gain from his toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on men. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God."
